PUSHSENSE / SUPPORT

A little help.
Then back to it.

01 / THE BASICS

Your first workout

  1. Place your phone

Lay your iPhone flat on the floor, screen facing up, with the front camera beneath your face. Keep it stationary and the camera unobstructed. You can revisit Phone Placement in PushSense Settings.

  2. Allow the camera & start

Open PushSense, read the placement guide, and allow camera access. Get into a high plank, tap Start, and wait for the countdown. Move down and fully back up to complete each repetition.

  3. Finish, rest, repeat

Tap Finish to save a set. Choose New set to rest and continue the same workout, or DONE to end it. Review your saved workouts in History. Returning Home and tapping Start begins a new workout.

PushSense counts standard push-ups with fixed phone placement. It does not assess exercise form or provide coaching.

02 / QUICK ANSWERS

Let's get you moving

Camera access is off or restricted

Open Settings in PushSense and check Camera Access. If access is off, tap Open Camera Settings and allow the camera, then return to PushSense. If access has not been requested, choose Allow Camera and follow the placement guide.

If iOS reports that access is restricted, check Screen Time or device-management restrictions. Enabling Face ID does not add TrueDepth support to an unsupported iPhone.

The camera is temporarily unavailable

Finish any call or other app activity using the camera. If your iPhone is hot, let it cool down, then use Retry in PushSense. Help and existing History remain available.

If your iPhone is reported as unsupported, Retry will not add the required hardware. Contact support if you believe that message is incorrect.

Repetitions are missed or counted unexpectedly

Check that your phone is flat, face-up, stationary, and beneath your face, with its front camera clear. Complete the upward movement before expecting a count. A partial movement or unavailable depth measurement can affect counting.

After a temporary camera interruption, complete a fresh down-and-up movement. If the problem continues, contact support with your placement and device details. Counting can vary with your device, movement, and placement.

A call, lock, or app switch interrupted my workout

Training runs in the foreground. An interruption returns you Home without automatically restarting. Previously finished sets remain in History; an unfinished set is not saved or resumed.

If you leave during the first Start countdown, you return Home quietly because training had not begun. A finished recap, reward, or Not Saved result can remain while the app process is still running.

What does “Not Saved” mean?

The current result was not recorded. You can keep viewing it or explicitly discard it. Previously saved sets remain in History. There is no general save retry or automatic recovery, and this unsaved result is not recovered after the app process ends.

Contact support before discarding a result you want to keep.

History cannot be read, or a record cannot be deleted

An unreadable History is different from an empty History. PushSense keeps unreadable data instead of replacing it with an empty history. A failed deletion leaves the affected record visible.

Do not delete or reinstall the app to troubleshoot valuable records. Contact support first. History is stored on your iPhone; PushSense provides no account-based cloud sync or recovery.

How do I share a workout?

Use Share on the reward screen or a saved workout's detail page in History. Choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. Cancelling does not change the workout or its History record.

If image preparation fails, choose Retry, or Cancel and try Share again. The app creates a standard workout image; the destination you choose handles it under its own privacy policy.

Can I turn off sounds or haptics?

Yes. Open Settings from the upper-right corner of Home. Sound and Haptics are separate switches, and your choices stay saved between launches. Visual feedback remains available. VoiceOver follows your iPhone settings.
